Yes, I made it home alive, in one piece, and fairly responsibly....
Jeff and I had an excellent weekend with our friends in Sacramento. It was so comfortable and wonderful to slip back into catching up and being together. I hope we can see them more often!
It was, obviously, too short and the time did come when I had to say goodbye to Jeffrey. I miss him like crazy.
But, life has a way of keeping us busy and, fortunately, I have one of my best friends out visiting from Michigan and my sister and her family here this week. So, I'm enjoying the family time and the laziness of sleeping in and doing whatever I want, including visiting the best bookstore in the world - Powells, hiking, and watching a bunch of movies.
